Both are West country terms for Tourists, the first being a Somerset/ Devon word, the second being Cornish and actually means 'Ants'.

Gorbies is what we called tourist, usually Americans, who are a little arrogant and pushy. I think it was used out in the Banff area as well back in the day (late 70's early 80's). So 'Huge Splat of Saliva" works as well.
