And finally, things are pretty clear for the 2015 poll with what is certainly the first win for Anekdoten!

^ In order to get a heightened self esteem. But they're actually more fooling themselves than that they're fooling others with this kind of actions...

Yeah, both options definitely have their pros and cons. It’s a shame that the cheaters spoil it for the rest of us, though, as ultimately that is usually the only reason people give against multiple votes. It would be kind of cool if the forum allowed you to do multiple votes, but only one per choice. Or, alternatively, if multiple votes were limited to, say, three. That way even if someone cheated the most they could artificially add to an album’s total would be two votes.

As I intimated in a comment on another poll, I’ve often wondered how different the poll results might have looked if multiple votes were allowed. I suspect Anekdoten would still be out in front, but not by as much. And potentially might not even be in front at all.

As an example, Beardfish seems to be a well-liked band on PA, and I know if multiple votes had been allowed, I would have voted for that album as well as Anekdoten. In fact, there are several albums I would probably have voted for. Choosing just one can sometimes somewhat artificially raise how popular something is overall.

I have thought about the multiple vote option, but I think it wouldn't be fair (as some might abuse it) and as realistic as everyone voting just once.

that album is a treat if your interested in bass playing with both Tim Lefvebre, David Hungate (original bass player of Toto),Tal Wilkenfield, Lee Sklar ( i think) and Lukather also takes upon the axe wielding.

Hmm... Not many bands/artists that interest me that much and I wouldn't call any of the albums that I do know "favourite"... Will give a listen to that Toto album - that one went under my radar... No vote, this time.

I'm surprising myself, but my vote goes to Riverside instead of to Gilmour.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Funnily, I'm just watching (and being blown away by) Riverside's Reality Dream DVD. For one who used to hate prog metal, they are a revelation. I feel a 5* review coming on.

LFATTM gets my vote, comprehensively.
