BTW, that's for the given top 5, not my top 5.

My ordering is just a copy and paste of your with switched titles because mobile.

Mine would look like this:

Yes - Close to The Edge
KC - LTIA
Genesis - Foxtrot
PF - Animals
JT - TAAB

in that order.

I wasn't even considering order with my list. I just noted that you and I share the same favourites for four of the five given groups.

Of course, any list of my big five or big six is going to include VdGG, the favourite album of which is "Pawn Hearts".

And if ELP is included, then my favourite is "Tarkus", just slightly ahead of "Brain Salad Surgery".

Pink Floyd: DSOTM (today)
Jethro Tull: Stand Up
Yes: The Yes Album (today)
Genesis: SEBTP (today)
King Crimson: Red (today)
ELP: Tarkus (today)

I said "today" because I love several from these bands and I just made a choice, ask me again some other time and I'd list something different.

G - A Trick of the Tail
Y - Relayer
KC - Red
ELP - Trilogy/ ELP debut equally.
PF - Animals

JT - Choosing a favourite album is tough, as I don't feel strongly about any of them, but I suppose Thick as Brick may be the best I've heard from Tull. I remember really enjoying Broadsword & The Beast in the 80's, but it doesn't appeal to me much these days.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Always Big Five for me since the 70s. Only saw the term Big Six in recent years on forums. So Big 5 or 6, You choose. :)

Anyway, here we go then:

G - W & W
JT - SFTW
KC - Red
PF - Meddle
Y - Fragile
