Thx! I don't understand why there'd be half minute samples only. Maybe try soundcloud instead?

Judged by half-minute samples only (??), very well-done and fresh music! Yes, the world-flavour is central.
Can't say more without hearing the pieces entirely, but I'd be quite optimistic about the progness.

Hi folks,

I found this forum through some musical friends of Hackberry (be sure to check their release if you like heavy instrumental stuff! ).

I figured I might try to enlist your help. I also write and play music. I have put a first EP on the web recently.

Personally I do not care much for labelling music, it IS quite useful to communicate to others and for people to find music when the description fits. The difficulty is that I am not so sure what I should call my music. There is a lot of world music (whatever that is!) influences, in the form of combia, halay, ghazals, charanga, wayno and such. Then a good dose of reggae, ska and some classical ideas.

On this release 3 of them have singing while "Is It Still Yesterday?" is an instrumental piece, where one can easily recognise that I like Zappa i guess :)

Now all of that doesn't really tell you what it sounds like... so I figured maybe you can help me out. I am not even sure it would classify as prog, but since it's a bit weird, it just might!

So if you want to, please have a listen and if something comes up in your mind help me out so that people that actually would LIKE my music have a bit better chance of finding out it exists :)

Thanks so much!

ps. You can find my music here:
