Hi,

I think the sad side of this is to think that all of our "friends" have left ... and we're still here.

I tend to look at many of these as "art" and its history ... they gave us the moments that were special and that was their role in our lives. And I love them for it, and do not question or devise any other idea around the mortality of it all, since it will be our turn soon enough ... and we don't like to mention that!

I've cried and enjoyed a lot of music, and some folks that were very special ... but in the end, all it's telling me is that I appreciate a range of artistry and beauty that goes way beyond "fame", and it is very special and is dedicated to something else that has little to do with "fame" and "Rock'n'roll", and this is something that is very hard to deal with in a popular board like this one.

The ability to mix, match and use other bits and pieces, even in what could be considered a comedic stance, is not always appreciated. No one considers the Bonzo Dog Band "progressive", yet their variety and many styles, makes them some of the most flexible and progressive musicians ever. And the passing of Vivian Stanshall is one of those kinds of moments where you should go ... one of a kind ... there will never be another as good and as valuable as him for his stories, songs, and amazing wit.

RIP, Rolf ... your bits here and there will always be remembered. And thanks so much for the far out memories ... they are special!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
