Easily Present's `Le Poison Qui Rend Fou' for me, top-10 all time disc to my ears. Haven't grown tired of it in twenty years and counting yet.

Fugazi for me. The best Fish era Marillion album.

I love the Ozrics, 1984 is excellent and I'm actually getting to enjoy The Cardiacs album (if I'm in the mood).

But I've just listened to Spirit of Eden for the first time in about 10 years and it's nowhere near as good as I remembered.
A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life.

Fantastic albums here, I'll go with Solaris but it's close with Present, Eskaton and Talk Talk.

I pick "Hyperborea" . Its not one of the "Tangerine Dream's" masterpieces (IMO) but I love it so much. I'm looking to this album from another P.O.V.
There are many great albums in this list that I love them and die for them.

This is an excellent list and represents pretty much the best of the 80s - the wilderness years for prog.  My vote goes to the Zoyd - a truly great album!

Marillion - Fugazi

Also love the Voivod and Talk Talk albums from this list.
I don't know some albums, don't care for some others.

Love the 80s - the Talk Talk, Cardiacs, UZ and AZ album would be big fish in any poll, Tangerine Dream close behind. Talk Talk by a whisker. (I don' know all but I maybe should - being in this poll looks like a good qualification.)

Let's give Fugazi a nod for this poll.

The 80's are not my cup of tea, so I've only listened to the Dead Can Dance album. Which doesn't sound like a typical 80's album, as far as I know. Which is great Tongue

Zappa here. I'm a huge fan of that album, especially the second side (incredible solo). Underrated in my opinion.

^ I thanked you (it gives 5 points), I think you can vote now.

I voted for Present, since I listened to it yesterday.

Just post short, stupid stuff in this poll until you reached whatever number it is; it will keep this poll at the topThumbs Up

Interesting idea...
