I've only heard four: Swans (magnificent!), Kayo Dot (disappointed after a couple of listens, but hopefully it'll grow on me), Iamthemorning (not my bag), but still voted for Vektor: What they do shouldn't work as amazingly as it does: Four hard working guys with their guitars, drums and bass just like every other metal band in the world, but still sounding like nothing else + also from the future.

Say So is a great album but I feel like going with Vespero here, I'm still spinning Lique Mekwas daily and it is getting better with every listen, fantastic album and they are such a great band!

I'll probably end up buying both.

Good poll Darryll...and a very difficult one to boot.
It's between Yugen, Bent Knee, Vektor, Vespero and Three Trapped Tigers, but then again, I've still to check out the new Kayo Dot and Swans' releases.
I'm leaning towards Say So - had a really good listening sesson earlier today on the bus. Fun fact: I had the volume waaaaay up, because the girl sitting next to me leaned in at one point and asked me if I was listening to Skunk Anansie I kinda get where she's coming from though...

No vote yet.

Yugen, easily.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Oops, I had the Kayo Dot title slightly wrong. The acronym is supposed to be PHOBOS but I had it PBOHOS.
