Well, it's already over! Another great 3-day Terra Incognita Festival which was ended Sunday by a stellar performance by none other than Sylvan!
This weekend started Friday by a Pink Floyd Revisited tribute made by the German band RPWL. They recreated one of the first Floyd concept concerts called The Man And The Journey (1969). The psychedelic aura was well recreated by having vintage animations and images shot on screens as the music played! No need for anything to get high! The band then added a couple of songs which appeared on albums afterwards (from Dark Side... to Wish You Were Here). Memorable show!
Saturday began with a surprise performance by Israel-born Gadi Caplan who was here to promote his latest creation which is due out in a couple of weeks. The acoustic show was a delight for our ears! Next came our 'home' band Inner Odyssey with a modified but ameliorated lineup. They gave us the privilege of listening to brand new material which should come out sometime next year. Awesome! Abel Ganz then gave us a great performance to back up their latest album which came out in 2014. What a show! The day (or night) ended by another solid performance by RPWL, playing some of their more obscure songs. The singer Yogi Lang is always as enjoyable as he explains with humour the origins or nucleus of each song played. We left the small 300-place chapel that night with huge smiles on our faces after such a day!
Sunday began with again another surprise performance: this time by Netherlands-born Anton Roolart, accompanied on piano by none other than Rave Tesar of Renaissance fame! The duo gave us an enjoyable intimate show! Following Anton and M.Tesar was the Richmond, Virginia-based band Kinetic Element. Great musicianship! Neo-Prog well delivered! After Kinetic Element came the Italian-Prog successors' band Unreal City. They blew everyone of us away with a more than memorable performance! The fusion of old traditional Prog with the Neo-Prog and the bigger-than-life extravaganza attitude of Emanuele Tarasconi is a sure winner! A must-see! The weekend ended by a great performance by German band Sylvan who were in Canada for the first time!
We were once more privileged by having such a variety of artists come to our small chapel and give us something which was much more than our money's worth: an intimate Prog party where the proximity and respect between the fans and the artists are maybe as close as it can get! Hats off again to the organizer Michel Bilodeau who made miracles for the 12th year!  Thanks!
