Thirty years ago - in 1985 - Marillion (with Fish) unleashed what would be a classic prog-suite: Misplaced Childhood. After settling in with Ian Mosley on drums with the previous Fugazi release (1984), the band put forward the concept album of the 1980s to rival Tull's TAAB (1973) and Genesis' TLLDOB (1974).  Indeed, as either New Age music or New Wave was taking hold of the 1980s, Marillion was one of the few artists signed to a major label (EMI) to carry on in the great Prog tradition of the 1970s.  Hear, hear, Marillion!  Happy 30th Birthday for the classic 'Misplaced Childhood'...
