Raff should worry...not me while we don't have any parrots she does have me. While I don't sh*t on the floor as often as I used to do (she is slowly housebreaking me) I am notorious for late night triscuit snacks without using such *gasp* UN-masculine things such as napkins or plates. And since I have let my hair grow out I am shedding not feathers but long strains of hair. oh and Hercules is a cutie!! Funny... I never looked too closely at your avatart and noticed what it was. I do have thing for the buggers myself. My father was nuts for parrots and I have fond memories as a child during my weekend visits of cleaning out the birdsh*t from the cages and playing and talking to them.

Buy your wife a Dyson, Raff has had hers about 6 months and she is still muttering how it changed her life and made her a happy woman And mine and made me a happy man... it's been 6 months since she asked me to help with the vacuuming.
|
I've had 2 Dysons and they were awful. Plasticky, easy to break and poor suction.
It pains me to say it, but I bought a German made Sebo and it's been such an improvement.
And Dyson's marketing bulls**t annoys me intensely. |
damn... I'll have to remember that if ours ends up going tits up. The we have has held up well against Raff's amorous attentions... and it sucks almost.. ahh.. give it rest Micky

You should worry. I live with 5 parrots who sh*t (usually in their cages but not always), spread seed, chew everything and spread fluff and feathers everywhere, so a good vacuum is pretty well top of my appliance list along with my turntable. You can see one in my profile - that is Hercules.

^ I got rid of all carpets and most rugs and got myself a Roomba. Doubles as a pet; kind of fun to watch sometimes (e.g. trying to drag a CD jewel case across the room).

That was ... intense ... some time in the middle of the week. For the reasons mentioned before I was rooting for KC, though I have great respect for both bands ... that I grew up with.
