Anyway, I did a "Winter" search for songs in my iTunes Library and came up with no less than 64 songs with "Winter" in the title.

Possibly the first Prog Christmas album released by any band or artist was Horslips' 1975 offering entitled "Drive The Cold Winter Away" and they had a song of the same title. It's a great Xmas album BTW.

Absolutely great album that goes well with a shot of eggnog (with rum).

Ring Out Solstice Bells by Tull is my fave. I'm not really into Christmas songs because it strikes me as a commercial motivation, but I guess that's a gross generalisation....

I haven't heard it, but there might be a suitable winter song on it.

Wrong kind of snow I'm afraid , the album was based on the 9/11 terrorist attack. The 'snow' that fell was as a result of the attack.
