You have a very funny way of standing up for the artists then, and believe me I read every word you wrote, which is why I took offense...just like most others did in this thread.
Seems to me that the one person who is ignoring the subject is you. Just like most other threads you frequent, where you use and hijack certain 'words' or musical descriptions to unload your latest rant on what is wrong with PA, the music business and our appreciation of the arts.
I'm done with this discussion. You can return to your soap box now.

Btw I'd appreciate it if you could leave out the nasty comments. This is the second time in a row now.

Sadly, the only bad thing in all this is that you did not read any of it!

I'm standing up for the artist, and you think I'm saying otherwise ... you have to cover and stand for your work ... not pray that you gonna get some money from some godly person ... you can not build a house on that hope!

has nothing to do with trashing anyone, except the comments that are totally out of line and are specifically trying to ignore the subject and do a personal attack rather than understand the comments made!

It's your intelligence at stake, not mine! I already claim to be a member of the "How Sweet to be an Idiot" club, while you are still trying to show the next girl how cool you are! At 64, even your bikini would look rather ridiculous, just like your comments!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Well, the record shop in my town has good service, but selections are limited, so I often can't find what I'm looking for. If I'm looking for new proggie albums, I'm stuck buying them on Amazon or something. Ouch

If that is not the case, I would try creating an account on bandcamp with the e-mail address you used to make the purchase. It will have a record that that e-mail account purchased the account and you should be able to get, from your account page, to a page with all your purchases, which should include download links.
Gazzardian, tried this, created the account but still received nothing further to my inbox....?? I dunno what I'm doing wrong ??

Tom, that makes absolutely no sense. I've been using Bandcamp for years now, either the free downloads or purchased albums, and I have NEVER had a single problem.

Once you put in your details (Paypal in most cases for me), it takes you instantly to a page that says `Download', you click that button, and it sends the album in a folder, usually takes about 2-3 minutes to send. Did you make sure to press that button to start the download, and/or did you take note of where the folder was going to end up on your computer? (ie maybe a `Music' folder, or your desktop?)
Well, we never received the e-mail starting the d/l link to begin with...........
Payment made to Rob Reed and processed on 27th Oct. and to this day, nothing.
........that's why a note was sent to Reed but that seemed to be ignored too.......
You know how much this album means to me - I want it in my pod to listen to whilst on holiday......the only album I want in my iPod .....

Tom, perhaps try a free download to get your head around how Bandcamp works?

For instance, check out this page:

http://freefloatingmusic.bandcamp.com/album/seeking-rest

This is a really nice electronic album I listen to frequently!

Now, take the following steps:

1. Click `Buy Now'
2. In the box that comes up, enter $0.00, then click the green `Download Now' button.
3. A new page will load, wait for the blue `Download' link to appear, click it, and save the folder it will send.

Give that a try, won't cost you a cent. Sorry to hear it's stressed you so much.

Bandcamp = SHYSTERS..........

Did the vinyl come with a download card? It's not unusual for those not to work. Sometimes intense emailing with their Customer Services helps; sometimes they just ignore you (but never fail to flood your inbox with marketing stuff from "select 3rd party entities").

I honestly don't think he understands how hard it is to make a living from playing music these days with the current downloading zeitgeist, as well as the illegal one.

The naivite that you write about this is so glaringly visible, that it is bizarre that anyone would even pay attention to anything you say!

Life doesn't exist until you say so!

And heavne forbid Pedro would say that you should RUN YOUR OWN BUSINESS, not someone else!

Goodness sakes ... get your momma to change your diapers again?

Nice. So now that you've insulted pretty much every hard working musician out there you decided to for one more. Beautiful Pedro.

LOL

OK did just get this -

Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing. Our world-renowned packing specialist lit a local artisan candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, November 13, 2014.

We hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. In commemoration, we have placed your picture on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sigh...
We miss you already.
