Prog Sphere web store is now open. You can order shirts with applications taken from our second (black t-shirt) and third (white t-shirt) Progstravaganza compilations, designed by Pahl Sundstrom. Black t-shirt is a little bit more expensive due to printing expenses (it's more detailed and more colorful and it has effects on forming its price). |

After next Progstravaganza is available, we are going to take a little break with all this releasing compilations thingie, as we think that we gave enough material for all of you folks who are willing to explore some new music. Progstravaganza 6 will probably hit the internet in July. Anyway, we'll keep you posted.

Prog Sphere Records is proud to present a multinational project
Ayahuasca Dark
Trip (Peru/Netherlands/Brazil) and their EP called
"Mind
Journey" (thanks to Keishiro for a great review). Comprised as a
trio, they blend psychedelic rock with meditative music, employing
variety of different elements. The EP will be available through Prog
Sphere as a stream/download, physical copies are available through Dooom
Records. More info to come. Stay tuned!

What I actually did in this second part is that I gave a short (p)review of the albums I found to be a good representatives of the scene and that's actually what I would love to have for the upcoming parts too. The idea was to cover all of the six former republics, but I am not actually sure about Montenegrin scene. so I will probably skip over it. |

Hey, no problem! I'll write the article for my website and publish it in one of our future issues and I can then share it with you, if you like the article. The Slovenian progressive scene has been quite prolific, with the likes of Izvir, September (ok, international Yugoslavian), Oko, Jutro, Begnagrad, Quatebriga, Moonlight Sky, Miusow Quartet, Kapella la Chateliere, etc. - a lot of it is very jazz based, like a lot of Yugo prog. |

I would really love if you could contribute in writing such article about Slovenian progressive scene, the next article will deal Croatian scene and the one after it will be concerned about Slovenian scene.
There are no bands in Serbia that actually play straight progressive rock, it's always used in some form, but nothing big. These bands I mentioned in the article are with pretty progressive approach and attitude, thus I found them suitable. The quality is guaranteed. |

I really liked the article on Serbian prog. I was planning to write a piece about Yugoslavian prog in general for my own website, but I don't really have the same kind of knowledge about Serbian prog as you. For example, I wasn't aware of newer Serbian bands playing progressive music. Is there a thriving progressive scene in Serbia nowadays?
