I had the chance to see him in concert 2015 October 3rd . (Belgium, Liège, at The Refektor, small venue).
The room was crowded, the group that accompanied him was young and excellent . In addition, the backing musicians showed great joy and respect for this 80 y.o.+ old bluesman who was always alert and charismatic. How lucky to have been there! RIP to the late great John Mayall of the famed Bluesbreakers, age 90. One of the guys I'd listen to for hours trying to pick up the blues harp as a teenager.

Orlando Cepeda was the first player to sign a contract to exclusively play as a designated hitter. With the Red Sox. Cepeda won the first "Outstanding Designated Hitter Award" better known now as the Edgar Martínez Award. It's so sad to see such a great player pass.
