That is definitely next on my list. I don't think I'll have enough time for that tonight though...

Time to listen to an album that's not as good as the one you just finished?

I started with a nice blend of Judas Priest and Maiden (still two of my favourite bands), before moving on to heavier territory with a strange brew of speed/power/prog metal bands such as Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Edguy, Kamelot, Hellowen, Sonata Arctica and who knows what. But then I reached a point when I just couldn't stand all the double bass frenzy and thought that all metal of that sort just sounded the same. A prejudice I still live with, and it keeps me from even wanting to explore the prog metal sub. But at least I went on to discover classic rock/metal in the shape of mainly Deep Purple and Rainbow, which somehow also led to the Who and the Beatles and other proto-prog and prog-related bands. The real prog breakthrough occurred when I discovered Kansas and became an instant fan of this "new" style of music. Rush quickly followed together with DT, Threshold and a moderate intake of Yes. And with that in the backpack I started to visit PA on a regular basis and eventually joined up just to give a few Rush records some well-deserved stars (now gone; not the stars, but the ratings) and lurk around the forum. Since my introductory post - an avalanche of musical masterliness. And there you have it, the story of my life

Sucks your team lost, but sounds like you got the good end of the deal with the new Physio work
