As far as I know you can walk around in the woods without paying any money for it.

Most of mine are that way, but they know well that I don't hunt. I might not mind taking that opportunity, though, if I trusted the people who asked me. Some of the woods can be very pretty to walk around in.

I was always reasonably okay at asking a girl out - but when we went out, I went so far out of my way not to appear the least bit threatening that I never ended up getting anywhere and the gril would either lose interest in me quickly or we'd enter the Friend Zone, never to return. No risk, no reward - that's the lesson learned. By the time I was in my early 30s I figured I had nothing left to lose and I made a very sudden an unexpected move on this gril I'd known casually for about a year. Turns out she had recently "given up trying" too, and just let it happen. And now she's my wife. The cool thing about marrying late is that I'm so much older than all the parents of my kid's friends, so I get to feel experienced and distinguished, which is BS but I like at least pretending I'm more experienced in life.

I can ask a girl "out" on a daily basis: "Please, would you go out of my room?" I can't stand people invading my personal space.

Part of me feels like asking a girl out would be super easy and all you have to do is be honest and straight with them but the other part of me knows i have no idea what i'm talking about and am full of sh*t.

Ever feel like your friends are your friends just out of proximity and convenience, not because you share any common interests or hobbies? Mine are talking about pooling money for 150 acres of hunting land and asking if I want in.

I think I'm going to get away with never knowing how to ask a girl out. Just mumbling some sh*t worked for me.

tfw glad I never have to worry about asking a girl out on a date again. I totally and absolutely sucked at it.
though I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the occasional thrill of falling in love. But I'll take the comfort of married life. A successful marriage, at that. An unsuccessful marriage is something I hope I can avoid. That would be worse than anything.

I guess i'm having similar problems with my very large attraction towards girl ive talked about here before.
Like i mentioned before i pretty much fell for her, big time, and the feeling wasn't returned in anyway possible so i got crushed.
I tried distancing myself from her but she comes to visit to say hi, hug, and whatnot, and (un)unfortunately i had the ability to do the same at her work once or twice. Every single time she smiles at me, says my name, or hugs me i just go to the moon. But i've honestly been depressed every day this happens because the minute of bliss i get from that, i get hours and days of hopeless depression because i know the reality of the situation. We aren't an item, and she doesn't care/like me anywhere near i do to her.
It's crushing to me. I'm known as the guy that does nothing, with nobody, and the anxiety and loneliness has just been imploding on me.
I wish i could start this time with her all over, doing things different. But its at a point where if we do say anything its nothing more than whats up, how are you - smallchat. Nothing really to say.
I hope you do just what you said, let it come naturally. Don't push yourself. Let something as fragile as a relationship build on itself. The idea of love at first sight is a beautiful thing, but the idea of a progression, an evolution between two people, seems more romantic and real.
I hope one day I can find someone else that makes me feel special and comfortable with myself, and do the same to her.
It's days like these that Morrissey just speaks to me.
Others conquered love - but I ran I sat in my room and I drew up a plan but plans can fall through as so often they do and time is against me now
And there's no one left to blame tell me when will you when will you accept your life the one that you hate for anything is hard to find when you will not open your eyes |
Well, good luck. I hope you find some emotional peace with the issue. Luv u.
