Hey everyone,

Are there any good post-rock bands/albums that feature saxophones, flutes, or any other woodwind or brass instruments? I'd like something that goes a bit beyond the guitar/bass/drum/strings.

Could Bitcrush's Of Embers be in this category?
I think they sound really awesome.

PS.
I EXTREMELY agree that Anathema's new work is really amazing.

new ALTAR OF PLAGUES is more post-metal, than post-black. I like it, but they were better

new YEAR OF NO LIGHT is good - if you'd count it as a new OMEGA MASSIF release. I like it, but they were better [2]

new SOUVENIR'S YOUNG AMERICA is beautiful, Southern Desert Post-Rock!

new THE OCEAN is very good, different but good, like latest MASTODON

new KHOMA is good, though nothing new

new KAYO DOT is way too boooring, didn't like it at all

new 65DAYSOFSTATIC and GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT are lame, though I haven't listened to them yet...and not planning to check them at all
new Anathema is amazing HeartHeartHeart , they have never dissapointed me.

new SOUVENIR'S YOUNG AMERICA is great yeah, i haven't listen their other albums, but i will do that when i have more time

i support you on Kayo Dot, new one sucks

haven't listen new Khoma yet

new 65DAYSOFSTATIC is way better then new GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT

yesterday i listened The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation for the first time, great band, it's amazing how the mix of vast number of genres can sound so much well balanced, tight. Succubus is such a good record

New Year of no light is boring. New GIAA? Well they havent made anything too quality since All is violent. So I'm not too surprised.

New Altar of plagues though? I'm on it!

hello there)

been touring Russia/Ukraine lately, got few shots from Kharkov show. We had an half-improvised set with a friend of mine, guitarist Bre, playing good old classic like THE CURE, THE SMITHS, etc. Would this be interesting for a Posty Thread, you may ask impatiently? Sure, me answering, and here's why:

have a nice week everyone!
