^ Thank you very much Greg. Your kind-heartedness never retires or gives a break.
I hope we'll meet in person one day. But no hurries or worries! I've never heard of that series, lol. I don't watch TV shows much, BTW; whether Turkish or foreign. |

^ It's been all over the news. It's so heart-wrenching.
On a very trivial note: I finished watching a Turkish series on Netflix the night before I heard the news, Shahmaran, and was taking to my wife about how very beautiful I find the language and how much I want to travel there. It's so tragic. That music is so beautiful and sad and fitting. |

We (Turkey) experienced an extremely devastating earthquake, as you might have heard on the news. (Two independent massive earthquakes, actually.) The situation in fact is far worse than you probably know.
Here's a sad tune from that region of Turkey. I guess this is an old song but fits the mood of now. Edited by Archisorcerus - February 09 2023 at 08:09 |

A local to me folk duo. This was filmed at the Pump House, which was built from 1881 to 1883. It was a water pumping station on the ground level and an open air ball room at the top level.

Not sure whether this is unknown, but it's a rather atypical and surprising Killing Joke track, and not popular among many of their fans (not sure whether that counts in its favour, I'd rather say it is great anyway). |

Saw this artist, Nadah El Shazly perform solo last night.
I recommend her only album. https://nadahelshazly.bandcamp.com/album/ahwar |

More recent Iggy Pop. This one from Danny Elman's album from last year.

Good call on Rival Sons. I have mentioned them before when giving an example of a more contemporary band that does blues based hard rock well, in contrast to an overhyped band like Greta van Fleet

Good song, not that djenty.
I've listened to Paralydium - Worlds Beyond (2020), good album. |

As I recall, Greg (Logan) created the "prog" version of this thread also; alas, I fail to find it.
Anyways... The only "djenty" prog metal stuff I could like. They later changed/abbreviated the band name to Paralydium and released a full-length album entitled Worlds Beyond; it was pretty cool too. They are not an outright djent band, yet they utilise some of its musical elements. Edited by Archisorcerus - January 30 2023 at 09:30 |

Noveller is a solo project from guitarist/composer and film maker Sarah Lipstate. This track is from her 2015 album, The Fantastic Planet.
"Into the Dunes" The entire album is rather fantastic. Edited by mathman0806 - February 08 2023 at 18:54 |

^ Huh, thanks. Nice tune but too repetitive.
