I like 'em too, but I suspect I'll be getting a non locking bridge when I a custom built 7 string guitar.
I don't use a trem arm enough to justify the long string change/set up times associated with a Floyd.
Locking tuners/Graphtec nut and saddles should be enough to keep a good non locking trem in tune.

Ohh, go into the "What kind of guitar do you play" thread, page 7, I posted a clear photo of the locking tuners on my 6 string guitar, you'll see the thumbscrew device on it.
I've never played a Kahler equipped guitar, always either hard tails, Fender 6 screw trems, Fender style 2 point floating trems and Floyd Roses/variations/licensed versions of them.

Locking tuners literally cut the string changing time in half for me, in fact, more than half really, plus they add a bit of sustain too.

Locking tuners?  Neat, never seen those.. I had fine tuners on my Japanese custom with a Kahler-style bridge, it had a locking nut but not tuners

Ahhh, awesome.
Mine wasn't too bad, wasn't bored out of my brains either, which was good.
My actual gift is not with me yet, should be a few weeks.
I've saved up a bit of money to get locking tuners for the guitar tooBig smile

pretty nice actually, not as stressful as usual, and the best part is a nice gift certificate to the greatest record store in the world (Amoeba)
