Get a pair of Shure SE530s, take time fitting them, then you won't hear anything else apart from the wonderful music (and you'll hear bits of the music you never heard before).

When I commute, I rotate 2-3 prog albums for 2 weeks...

and most of the time, when I have a new album, I can't wait to hop on the bus & train to listen.

For this day, I kept on repeating  TFK's Adm & Eve.
Take the Passion Road.

I used to be skeptical about how effective the idea of listening to progressive music on commutes would be because you generally need to concentrate harder and in all the crowd noise, the best passages can just get drowned. But where there's a will, there's a way, I have found. LOL  I generally combine one or more big epics - 15 minutes or more - so that i lasts the whole commute.  So, today morning was a bit of Foxtrot and Trick of The Tail and the evening was dedicated to Scheherazade and other stories.

The much maligned "Light + Shade" from Oldfield , actually a very soothing experience , regardless what the rabid fans say! Needs a lot of spins , though
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
