I always have those. The only way for me to eliminate them is to be drunk. But that in itself causes me to have sleeplessness.

I'm finally getting decent sleep since I've moved.  I used to be plagued by insanely vivid and long dreams that made it feel like I hadn't slept at all.

I have fortunately never had sleep paralysis, and I usually remember at least some of my dreams.

I have no idea why I have been crippled with anxiety all night but here we are at 5am whooooops.

This happened after a dream though (a WEIRD one) so that was natural.

Yeah, your eyes are open although your body can't move. That's why it's so horrible and frightening, your body stimulates your senses as if in a dream except you can look around.
This explains it all pretty well.

Yep, that is scary as hell. Probably the most horrifying experience of my life.

Basically you can't move but you can look around and elements from dreams will appear to be around you. After a school camp I fell asleep on my bed and couldn't move but could look around, and I could see people running around my house and here voices. sh*t is insanely horrifying. It's a pretty common phenomena though, and apparently once mastered, you can enter a lucid dream nearly instantly.


The f**k? Is your looking around real? Like your eyes can't be open or some sh*t.
Sounds like a bad trip, which kinda makes me want to believe the whole Pineal Gland/DMT/dreaming thing..but that's hippie junk for another day. I'll get a notebook and pen ready and say it to myself before I sleep. Let's see what happens in some time.
