OH MY GOD STEVE WILSON IS ON HERE AND NO ONE TOLD ME?
haha is he really or is that a lie

i had the pleasure of meeting him in real life

no ...in all seriousness.... he is a member here.... don't believe he has been here in a long time.  He'll come back when he needs to promote an album or something I'm sure.  Everyone went goo-goo ga-ga over him.  Had to be a hell of an ego trip. LOL

that other door was locked for me ... I heard foul ....ghasty sound from behind it..  thus I   sheetrocked over it... and placed a nice painting on the wall where that  door once  was LOL

damn proud to raise my hand....   not to bring excess negativity to the thread... but Genesis simply puts me to sleep.  Not a group I particularly like as a whole, though they had  moments.. like The Cinema Show that rank with the best anyone did.

Is that because you owe your love of prog to the Phil Collins era? Wink
I really am not a fan of any era, sorry. I owe my love of prog to Opeth, I guess I fall in the "metal convert" catagory not the "I like to watch men dressed as flowers" catagory

like the vocals.. and it really can infuence how much you like the
group, no matter what you think of music I guess

To be honest though... PFM is the only 'major' group here at PA's that
I really can't recall a single person saying they 'don't like'.
Other than some occasional  punk who just wants to stand out or be
contrary for the hell of it.  Even then...I don't recall any of
those with PFM.

Granted not everyone has heard them... but most all experienced proggers have.

Francesco's voice is amazing.

Aside from the few songs streaming on the website I am not familiar with any of the Italian bands that you are so fond of.  That doesn't mean I don't like them though, it just means I'm a Noob when it comes to RPI.

let me direct you to a thread...and check what James and Raff wrote on this last page of this thread.. it was very..very true.
