Disc 2.
"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

The Cracow Klezmer Band - The Warriors

Very good.

Here's the band's myspace site for interested parties: http://www.myspace.com/cracowklezmerband (became the Bester Quartet).

I miss my friend , such a nice gentleman, thanks for keeping his spirit alive. I still have his cell # in my speed dial. I will never delete it , out of principle.
I think I will give his beloved Depeche Mode a listen, even though it may provoke a tear or 2. RIP Antoine!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I just got this one myself.  Looks like a perfect time for a first listen.

Hope you like it. It's quite cheerful and melodic and in my case, addictive.
There's some zeuhlish and other influences in the music (like Samla, Univers Zero and others) but the overall results is quite distinctive and appealing.

The first listen was quite good.  I suppose that I will pick up more things upon closer listen but I didn't really pick up too much in the Zeuhl and other influences (not that I am an expert in these by any stretch of the imagination).

And now back to my listening experience with the Ladies.

A Passion Play simply is awesome for me.....you MUST play it sometime, specially when you have nothing to play rather than some Dio stuffTongue

I'm good. Can't say i've been busy, but i've been doing other stuff, since i've been pretty bored of PA lately.
Yeah, i will. Might even play it tonight. Tongue And DIO is actually really good, you should like them! Wink

and now I've moved on to Thick As A Brick, which is quite fun on first listen.  Maybe I'll get around to all the other obvious gaps in my listening this month.  There are still 14 of the top 20 which I've never heard.

Not really sure if it's an homage to our friend, Febus - but I do remember him making a comment on how this castle looked pretty scary
