I take it back, Monique(or however the f**k she spells it.) deserved that win.
It didn't deserve the screenplay win, though.
District 9 should've won, but that's just the fanboy in me.

Turning into James and checking some unreplied messages.

Rico, when you did said spoilers, does that mean you seriously watched the whole broadcast? Because that would be retarded.

I taped the whole broadcast (undubbed on HBO, the national television makes a mess adding commentators and real-time translators). Then I watched the essential, meaning I fast-forwarded through all the tehnical awards and the speeches/presentations that got excessively boring.

But when I said spoilers, it was because of KoS commenting on best supporting actress, not for telling me Star Trek took Makeup.

How's life in English academia?

Prone to sudden PA breaks and a dodgy internet connection. End of term on Friday, which is kind of sad. Wish I could stay around for a couple of weeks afterwards so I'd actually have the free time to use the libraries a bit more.

Seconded.

Maybe it's time to finally watch those Tarkovsky movies.
?  What are those?

. . .
Fine, be that way. LOL

All I did was highlight Tarkovsky and right click it, then I went to Search Google for "Tarkovsky". Still doesn't tell me a lot though.

That's because the right operation is watching his movies!

And how would I go about doing that?

Uhm...Yeah, I received them on DVD in 2007, and they're standing on the shelf, unviewed, ever since.
