For me, looks like people facing progressive rock have got more sincere and cooled down.

Of course, the Shred hasn't quite been the same since Jim stopped posting in it. Cry

yes I would say, after being a reference source, this is  largely a social experience (music-related of course)

In the last 24 hours, we had posts in 130+ topics, and more than one post in most of them - be careful not to mistake thread count for post count. Apart from that, the days we had over 1000 posts per day occurred in the times the Velvet Room was at it's peak and people organised massive 'band competition polls'- and those weren't the most useful topic when it comes to promoting music. Besides, if you really want to promote prog, the PA database and modern social media sites are more effective means - in general people don't come here to promote music, but socialize with like spirits.

Seems like I've run out of things to say regarding progressive rock. It really helped me expand my musical tastes but I don't think I'm purely a progger anymore.

Sometimes people are just busy. I usually post a lot more but damn if this systems analysis and design project isn't completely hindering my free time for the next couple of weeks.

Maybe it's even better that there are posts as many as 100/day, making it easy on the admins Smile . And I think that some people tend to get tired of prog, some probably think posting had stopped making sense ... ? Or something like that.
