Hmm, this is strange. Filter by country and choose 'Belgium'. The rating 'UZED' gets is different here. Why is this?
I'm new to this site btw |

UZED has a QWR of 4.1847 for 163 ratings and resides at #102 in the "Top 100"
"A Little man...ect" has a QWR of 4.2177 and resides at #73
I see nothing wrong here.

Can someone please give me more insight into the
calculation of the top 100? For example: the album 'UZED' by 'Univers Zero' has a QWR of 4.255, 163 people have rated this album. This album does not appear in the top 100 list. 'A LITTLE MAN AND A HOUSE AND THE WHOLE WORLD WINDOW', from the band 'Cardiacs', on the other hand, has a QWR of 4.2176 (127 ratings) and possesses the 73'th place in the top 100 list. How is this possible?? |

Why highlight mediocrity? Give an opinion on soemthing and then let others decide - can you imagine being responsible for having the album with the worst rating? |

I agree - it should be based on albums with the most 1-star ratings.

I think that there should be a lowest rated albums list. Seriously.

I am currently digging:
Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz! Please drop me a message with album suggestions. |

As a newbie, one can help but could also have the adverse effect unfortunately thus the band one loves and so much wish the best, due to your/newbie review putting their name out there it might might actually become a target for others, nothing is fair, fortunately PA has collabs do make a difference in terms of levellling and making it fair, although they too are human and might miss certain things. .

You can help its rating by submitting a review and rating yourself, if you haven't already done so. The rankings are nothing more and nothing less than the sum total of what people like you have contributed to the site.

Truth ... I did not realize. Still, I think it is still far below what it should, for me it's the best album of the Focus. For an album that takes a hit as "Sylvia", the spectacular "Answers, Questions, Questions, Answers" and "Anonymous II", and a splendid performance of Akkerman at his best, certainly is very underrated. |

Can someone explain to me why Focus III appears not even among the top 100 in the Netherlands?

The problem is that here at PA we don't have multi genre album/artist tagging, like they have on our sister sites JMA and MMA. Therefore all Miles Davis albums gets tagged as Jazz Rock/Fusion, even though some of them, like Kind Of Blue, are not.
