Sadly the Eclectic team doesn't use PF, and their chart is only viewable by collaborators. I can keep you updated on the votes, though.

Also, could somebody please post me the progfreak link; where the eclectic team are evaluating the band? Just so we can keep an eye on what's happening. Thank you :)

The Eclectic team has a pretty big backlog so you'll probably have to wait until the evaluation is complete.

I have seen on Prog Freak that the majority have voted for us to be moved, is there any news?
I'm sorry to be a nuisance.
And thanks Lazland!

Thank you Garden.
Of course Floyd are an obivous influence to our selves, but so are King Crimson and Camel. I mean any recent band is going to be compared to a band or bands of the past, that's what people seem to do for some reason.
But yes, it's a great compliment anyway to be recognised as being similar to one the best group of musicians ever.
I'm a bit unsure what you mean about scratching your head, but cheers.
The Madcap Laughs

I voted yes for inclusion on the neo prog sub-genre, but, thus far, i am a lone voice. it looks likely that the band will be evaluated by another team, probably eclectic or crossover.

Sounds *very* psyche/space to me Damo!

On a personal note, you certainly have a reasonably professional sound for a first EP, good job.

It does sound like you're following a bit too closely in the footsteps of Pink Floyd to my ears.

Also, entirely un-musical but your EP and album names have me scratching my head...

Yep. Already notified Neo Team again.

I've checked your soundcloud samples and felt ... you're progressive (good songs indeed) but not close to Neo nor Psych.
Eclectic or Crossover can be your place IMHO ... now waiting for another opinion in Team.

Again, thanks for taking the time. We could only afford to record two tracks and we are currently looking at recording an album, however it is a bit pricey, so we can't actually give a date of when we will be able to have an album recorded. You know it is a struggle to get recognition, in this day and age, and we'll just continue doing what we're doing and see what happens. We've got so much more songs, that are much better than the two on 'The Pith Of Eleutheria'. I would really appreciate it if we got into the PA, however I totally understand that there is a lack of songs, but they will be there in the near future... it's just having people there who can hear 'The Pith Of Eleutheria' who will want to hear more, and then we could release 'The Esoteric Tales Of The Luminous Sun'(the album).

Cheers

Haha Octopus, I can't wait to leave this town, I bloody hate it here. Thanks for your feedback before.

Take care
