Yeah, their psych/RnB debut LP (see my avatar) is one of important early albums of YU rock, unfortunately it is often overlooked.

Ah, it is a sort of sljiljovica, a plum brandy. Consume with caution!

Zuta Osa (Yellow Wasp) - particularly smooth and potent brand of spirit distilled from plums. It is yellowish in color. Needs to be consumed in moderation, else....

OK, but the music shops in Bosnia are rather poor, although Bijelo Dugme CDs can be found here or there.
And what on earth is "Zuta osa"? I guess it is a brand of some liquor or what?

^^ Thanks for tips guys.
Friend of mine gets homesick once a year and travells back to Bosnia in June. I'll ask him to bring some CD's back (and a bottle of Zuta Osa to enjoy the listening even more ) Cheers. |

BD was reunited for one grand tour of all ex-Yu countries with major concerts held in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Belgrade in 2005. You can check these here in the BD PA pages. After the tour, leader Bregovic continued his solo career while the three former singers continued to tour as "tribute to BD" band and had a legal battle with Bregovic about the use of the name BD. He won. Edited by Seyo - March 14 2009 at 06:14 |
