Rainbow did not age well for me (I stopped listening to them before I was out of my teens), but I remain a major Zep fan. I think they had more musical depth and were heavy rock pioneers. Rainbow seemed to be mainly about hormones/testosterone, and following an established "template." (They were very good at what they did, though.)

I vote Stargazer, probably due to overexposure to Kashmir, and because Dio sings, and because Blackmore plays, Powell slams, Bain too...

How do I create a poll in the non-prog forum?
 
Anyway, two of my favourite rock epics are Zep's 'Kashmir' & Rainbow's 'Stargazer'! I can't seperate them but which do you prefer?
