Ugliest covers of otherwise great albums

This thread has been very fun to read through, and see all the opinions. I think the cover I disagree with the most for being here is the Alphataurus one, but that's subjectivity for ya. I'm also too gay to hate any of the "nude man" covers on principle, but this one is pretty silly I will admit:

The fecal-like look to the character on the album cover puts me off.

The Final Cut (the greatness of the album can be endlessly debated tho I personally love it) - the cover is unimaginative & dull IMO - it just did not have the panache, flair or artistic creativity of the Hipgnosis produced covers.

I remember when that IQ album came out somone immediately drew a comparison to the cowardly lion from the Wizard Of Oz! That completely trashed it for me. I always felt that album was deeply flawed and the artwork almost ephasises that in spades. Their most talented member Martin Orford left the band not long afterwards and they have produced 3 masterpeices since (go figure!).

Ectoplasm? The illustrator appears to have drawn inspiration from spiritualists' belief in materialisation, or the appearance of the spirit in a visible human form. Can’t explain it really - I have no idea what it means either, but then i don’t really understand what most of IQ’s music is about and they’re my favourite band!!!
