   The New Wave eighties may have been the lost decade for some in the history of Prog-Rock. but then along came Marillion and the birth of the Neo-Prog era, so all was not lost. 
Some well-known favourites of mine:-

1985: Annie Haslam - Still Life

1989: The Enid - Final Noise
