Two groundbreaking jazz fusion records, both released in 1970. They're pretty closely rated on PA, but composed/improvised by two very different sets of musicians with different goals. Personally, I much prefer Third because it seems to have a less randomly eclectic sound than Bitches Brew, but I think it's still kind of unbridled, and manages to combine off-the-wall experimentation with some great Wyatt melodies.
