I reckon she'd like this version of Kobaia, yes.

Firstly, it's sang in English.
Secondly, she's crazy for bluesy/jazzy guitar solos.

I know what makes her tick.

I'm James, I don't like to edit my posts, or even use the enter key.  I just make three posts in a row instead.

I love this version of Kobaia.  Mmm.  Sang in English and with an awesome jazzy and bluesy solo by Mac Gaw.

No, I'm pretty sure he's French.

She pronounces it James MacGo.

That's because Stella speaks English. And I thought he was a Brit.

I'm glad others find Black Oni so damned good.  I've been saying it for years but people are genuinely surprised when they find out I'm correct (mostly).

I love the sonic mindwarp on the album.  It's a good album to put on to check your new stereo equipment is up to it.  I've played it loud at my folks place before and the bassy parts really make the floor vibrate.  Plus of course there's the high-pitched parts too.  Mmm.

Five Suns has some of it too.  Mmm.

What the hell is it with my Apple Software Update?  It always stops updating.  Weird.

Not that I care, I don't use iTunes or Safari.  I think I only really need QuickTime.

Unfortunately, Brian, they're not quite as brilliant.

Five Suns is more Zeuhlish but unfortunately it's just not quite as good as Black Oni.  Still worth purchasing though.

Elixirs is good too but only a few tracks are similar to their previous work.  It's different yet still good.

Also try Miasma and the Carousel of Headless Horses.

You only need three albums.

Well I only have 1 so yeah LOL

Which one?

Black Oni
Which is just bloody brilliant
If their other ones are as good (or better of course) then...well I don't even know.

Hey James, I've noticed you've got The Cracow Klezmer Band on yout sig. Since I've enjoyed Zorn's Masada quite a lot, should I get that De Profundis album?

Definitely.

They've worked with Zorn a few times, as I'm sure you know.  Personally. I prefer De Profundis over their work with Zorn.

I didn't know that. Gotta check them out.

Yep.

Balan: Book of Angels Volume 5
Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass

Although Zorn doesn't perform on either.

So when I say they've worked with Zorn, I meant his compositions, or for him, not with him.
