Yes
Campus police were notified of extremely loud, unusual music spoken in alien language coming from one students dorm. They tried to speak to said student but couldn't enter the room because they're not worthy

Your room mate was Walter? Shocked

No, my roommate played some post-1989 industrial metal and rap from time to time as well.  LOL

Dead Double-FAIL.

I think I would've preferred Walter. LOL

Erm, about that enormous sound system...LOL  Let's just say that my roommate might get a bit of the same feeling, though I don't usually crank my system up loud.  And he'd get to listen to prog instead of 80s music. LOL

Hey NC, I thought I should let you know that your "location" for your member's profile says "The Astral plan", not "plane." I noticed it a few days ago but forgot to tell you.

In my dorm at a Christian college, it was boring because my roommate was the shyest person in the world, and just the looming oppression of not wanting to offend anyone with my ungodliness was stifling. But at Purdue, we had some times, man. Smoking hookah in the dorm with the smoke detector covered, philosophical discussions, going to coffee shops. Sophomore year was a blast. Junior year we had an apartment, and things were fun, but they changed too much. It became all about parties and smoking weed for some of my friends. One of my friends just smoked weed and started listening to rap all the time. I don't really like him much now. New friends came in and the atmosphere changed a lot. It was fun and I have stories, but things didn't change for the better in most ways. In fact, one of the cooler friends I have/had in sophomore year didn't hang out with us much because there was always an oppressive atmosphere of weed in the apartment (which I certainly didn't like, mind you). And we didn't hang out much during this summer too. We stopped going to the coffee shop and mostly stopped having good conversations. Most people didn't want to have anything to do with that and would rather just get high. It was a very weird atmosphere. At least every week I'd come home from work and as soon as I opened the door--WHAM...wall of weed smell. It wore thin. So now, I have around one friend in my home city while everyone else is back at their colleges. I'm waiting to see what this college year will bring. Hopefully satisfaction with music. Uncertain times these are.
