actually, hellhammer has played with prog metal bands arcturus, age of silence and winds; samoth has played with prog metal arcturus and ulver and with hagalaz' runedance; esa holopainen is in amorphis, who i think is prog metal; and dave wyndorf is in monster magnet, who draws a huge influence from hawkwind and amon duul.

Somebody who really looked cute when younger was Rush's Alex Lifeson - pity he's put on a bit too many pounds in the intervening years!
