Really love the music of all four of them. The Residents are perhaps my least favorite but I can't let go of them. So, it is my second least favorite: GG.

Renaissance is the odd one out for me.

Could only do Renaissance. I can only take Gentle Giant and Tangerine Dream in judiciously small portions, and I have never heard of The Residents.

The Residents must be seen as well as heard to fully experience them.

I guess that as much of an experimental music enthusiast as I am ... was, I've yet to do some more exploration of The Residents' stuff. However, given what I've heard, my votes of admiration go to TD, GG, and Renaissance.

Too simple. Residents are non-resident.

I haven't heard The Residents yet but Gentle Giant and Tangerine Dream do nothing for me, so I'll only vote for Renaissance.

All but the bottom one again. Was listening to The Residents today (for the first time actually) and they really don't come close to these bands...

Gentle Giant are magnificent, and Renaissance are only a smidgeon behind.
The other two hold no interest for me whatsoever.
