What you should do is avoid doing it as a multi-thread thing, because the Survivors have been way too annoying. It would be great if we had a feature that let us replace the poll in the thread with a new one, or post a poll in the individual posts in the thread, but now it would just be too much.

I do plan on doing it. The real question is whether or not I should wait.
(Unless, of course, Morningrise has an objection.)

I had assumed that the South America one was part of a bigger tournament, and that he would do more regions after this was done then winners of each region would compete against each other at the end. But if not then I would say do it.

It would be neat if it covers some very little rated ones as well.

Agree with everything you said here. The main reason why I'd wait is precisely because I don't want to generate a bunch of copycats (even though I'm being a copycat myself ).

Morningrise has been doing a South American prog world cup, and I must say that it's been exposing me a lot of cool bands that I had no previously heard of.
I thought that an Asian & Middle-Eastern Prog World Cup would also be interesting. However, I'm wondering if I should wait until Morningrise's tournament is over (I think that would be the best course of action). I want to know what you guys think, though.
