Their playlist before the show is excellent. I knew just about every song. I, along with my friend and girlfriend, were singing along, air drumming, etc. without a care. LOL

It's Neil Peart's Play List, that's why it's so good!

I saw them on their 2010 tour, best concert I have seen.  Admittedly, I have only seen three, Yes and Iron Maiden being the other two, but Rush was great.  I love that Faithless was played and I also love all of the classic prog played before and during the show.

I saw them on June 20th, at the Gibson in LA and it was awesome.

Definitely the best concert I've been to, yet.

I'm glad the whole family got to enjoy a night of Rush. You are teaching your children well! Clap

Hope we can see them again next year for a "Clockwork Angels" tour! Headbanger

The "Catcher10" Family just returned from Ridgefield, WA on Tuesday June 28th and saw Rush. It was 2 of my sons first Rush show and we also had our exchange student with us who is from Barcelona, Spain........His first concert ever. Basically a 3 hour baptism for the boys!

This show is the same as the 2010 show I reviewed (which I will include the link to here http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=70424&KW=&PID=3797066#3797066) from Mountain View, CA.....almost.
For those who always say..."Rush shows are like listening to the album in your room...there is no difference". Basically yes...for the casual listener. Over the last several tours they have been changing some songs, and even this Time Machine tour I noticed several changes from last year to this year.
The changes are not huge, but for me they are, as I notice everything! Mainly song structure, tempo, rhythm, speed....I noticed it on songs like Time Stand Still, Freewill, Marathon also heard changes in Neil's solo Love For Sale.
This show was the 3rd to the last show....July 2nd is the last show of this gargantuan 2010-11 tour.

All my boys were completely blown away by Rush, as were my wife and I as usual. What they kept talking about was how good they sounded and of course the light show, pyro and steam punk theme. My 12yr old was like "dad when is the concert going to end??" This question came at the start of 2112 and I told him "dude there are still a few to go" he said "Ok". I laughed and after the show I explained to him it is just a way that some artists show their appreciation to their fans by having 2+ hour shows.

Alex is truely an amazing guitarist, I really enjoyed seeing him this tour. Geddy I have to say played some of the best bass I have ever seen him play...he was very passionate that night. Neil Peart....nuf said!
Here are pictures my wife took, she always does a great job at the shows we go to!!!.

Looking forward to the tour for the new album, should be good! As usual........

**Pics added now** Enjoy!
