Their apparently a jazz rock band, but I'm talking about the gothic rock/metal band, or love metal as they coined themselves, all their songs are basically based on gothic oxmorons, e.g. Dark Light, Buried Alive By Love, Venus Doom, Join Me In Death etc.

I'm a massive Manic Street Preachers fan, Everything Must Go would be my favourite, but The Holy Bible atmospherically is better, lyrically their also the best.

And Coheed's third album was a real life changer for me, it will always be something special to me.

And yea I have all The Smith's albums, and I do like Meat Is Murder, I need to give it another listen cause it dragged on a bit for me at times, but I think I'll need to get into it more, the same with Strangeways

HiM, lead by the talented Doug Sharin, is a band playing very good worldy jazz-rock :

Unfortunately, the album on the list is by HIM, not HiM.

There are a lot of neat albums in your list!  I'm impressed, and I thought your high rating for the third Coheed & Cambria album was excellent.  I really enjoy it, along with the first two.  Also, glad to see that you like "The Holy Bible" by the Manic Street Preachers; you and I obviously share a few similar tastes in music.

Have you heard "Meat Is Murder" by the Smiths?

Apparently so!

No sn****ring at the back please!
The word filter is arbitrary and dumb. I've tried to fix it where I can, so we can use words like sweetwater without the interfering busybody stepping in, but this one eludes me. As naff as sound (and I can believe I'm actually suggesting this), all I can suggest is snicker and snickering.

Niggardly is okay though.  Approve

I really get pissed off when people get offended by that word.  It only demonstrates their ignorance.

You should swap #12 and #38.......both great albums but you missed the mark on those two.
