My favorite vocal moment is most of Ashes are Burning (the song) by Renaissance. Annie Haslam's voice is nomnom.

Carolina Hard-Core Ecstasy is a pretty big vocal moment in Zappa's music... same with Planet of Baritone Women, Bobby Martin is a freaking genius
