Specifically, Mei.  Started it about 14 minutes ago, nice little 50 minute chunk of time set aside for it.

In the Court of the Crimson King: An Observation by King Crimson

The 2009 remix/remaster by Steven Wilson & Robert Fripp in 24/96 MLP Lossless DVD Audio. You guys need to buy this! There's actually a big enough difference in the mix for it to be worth it. It sounds just stunning!

Let me give you a secret a lot of people don't know about.

Kansas's debut has some of the most brilliant prog I've ever heard- two songs in particular:  "Journey from Mariabronn" and "Apercu."  The former is somewhat well known among prog fans, but "Apercu" is the lost gem of prog (even among Kansas fans, sadly).

You must also hear "The Pinnacle" (from Masque), an epic that rivals "Song for America" in majesty.

Point of Know Return contains the masterpieces "Hopelessly Human" (another often ignored gem from Kansas, again, even among fans) and "Closet Chronicles."

Me?  I love it all, but out of the first five albums (exempting Song for America and Leftoverture), these, knowing your taste, are must-hears.

Also...while not an incredibly strong album comparatively speaking, Audio-Visions has this really amazing thing called "No One Together."  To this day my jaw drops in amazement as I wonder how a man came up with such an arrangement.

And Somewhere to Elsewhere is my second favorite album of all time.  Smile

What do you think of that, Jeff?

I love it! I think it is the best Kansas album, but I am missing a few so I can't say that for sure yet.

It's my favorite too! But.... I've only heard that and LeftovertureEmbarrassed haha, anyways, don't quite dig the band but certainly can notice their talent.

I only have one without Livgren out of pure fear the rest will all be terrible without their mastermind
