I knew I was wrong as soon as I heard it the "proper way". I had that strange "man I'm dumb" feeling in the pit of my gut.

Thanks guys!

Thumbs Up

I believe it's generally pronounced twenty-one-twelve. Named after Neil Peart's locker in high school, IIRC. My friend went to the same school (thirty-some years later) and says that it kept getting stolen. The locker, I mean.

I never really though of this until today... because my dad's pal came over. We started talking about music, then Rush, then I brought up "2112". I told him how I really liked "Two One One Two", and he said "What the hell is Two One One Two?". I didn't know what to say, because he is the guy who introduced me to Rush... after a couple seconds he blurted "Oh! You must mean Twenty One Twelve!"

How do you pronounce this album's name? (even though I'm guessing Twenty One Twelve is the correct way). I went through years of ignorant bliss, calling it Two One One Two.
