By the way, new songs are up on my profile. Both of them (Prophet of the Marsh, Trapped in Light) sound like crappy modern videogame music. TO me, anyway. Enjoy.

Thanks Dan. As soon as I finished White Walls I realized that it sounded a lot like Ulver's We Are the Dead.

Hey, I really like The Thoughtless One. The part at the piano break where the synth fades in is really cool. Also liked White Walls, that one sound (can't describe it but I hope you know which one) gave me chills when it first came in. Very cool and unexpected.

I've uploaded 2 new songs, and fixed Beast's Heart which cut off after only a few seconds. Everything is kinda quiet, though, so if you turn up the volume, don't forget to turn it back down before starting your other music again....

Hmmm... it seems an old Disney's animation: "Emerson Goes To Rio".

No problem... I'll change to Joshua Scammell until you find a proper band name.

Well I can't change that now (I actually did realize that mistake as soon as I made this topic) and I can't really say "For next time..." because I can't see the point of making more than one thread about myself. I'm not that selfish. Nevertheless, I'm very sorry about that.
"Me" is a bit of a silly name for a project, innit?
(If you're going to change it, the name I'm using right now for the project is Joshua Scammell...but I'm thinking of getting a proper band name.)

Josh, I'd appreciate if you could put a name (artistic name, I mean) in the topic's title... unless "Me" is the name you're going to use.

In fact...this thread is better suited for the "Get the Word Out" forum.

I like it a lot. Although ELP isn't listed in your influences, it sounds like Emerson goes RIO

At the beginning? There's a bit of throbbing organ, but the rest is just acoustic guitar...I don't even recall adding any effects to it! It's funny because I can't play guitar for crap and I was just goofing around for about an hour before I came up with that little simple thing, and had to do a looot of editing to get rid of the rest.
And also, earlier when you said "good playing"....I'm actually only playing all the drums, some of the bass, recorder, and that little guitar part. The rest (piano, synth, most guitar, a lot of bass) was written on garage band, which is like guitarpro (if you know what that is) but has much better voices.
BTW your new song kicks ass.

Forever We Are Trapped. The second half of the song is based around two moving guitar parts that get all mixed up and altered and I felt that it made an almost trapped feeling, plus theres a very dissonant guitar solo that adds to the odd feeling.
By the way, I have to ask, what instrument is that in Temple of Ice? It sounds like a harpsichord but I can't quite tell. It's very cool though.
