Hybris is a totally different album to Epilog - having been absolutely blown away by Hybris i bought Epilog, but missed half the cd by falling asleep - it's booooring!Ermm

Hmm.... maybe you shold try Hybris instead? I generally prefer that to Epilog, and I personally find it a slightly better album. Also, it does contain some vocals, which might make it more interesting than Epilog. Or maybe Änglagård just isn't your cup of tea Ouch

Thank you. I thought I was the only person in the prog world who doesn't get the appeal of that band. Prepare for some invective, though.

And all the rest is just bullsh*t

I simply can not  "get into"  Anglagard-Epilog
... and that makes me sad
because I feel like I've been left out of all the fun. Cry

After reading many rave reviews about Anglagard,
I was looking forward to getting one of their albums.
Finally, a couple months ago, I got a copy of Epilog
and was sooooo excited to check it out.  Big%20smile

Even though I enjoy the band's influences and can recognize their ablities,
there is something that just doesn't work for me -- despite numerous listens.

Actually, it kinda makes me feel like I'm listening to instrumental backing tracks
to Wind & Wuthering-era Genesis outtakes ... or something like that.
Not that THAT is altogether bad -- It's just unfulfilling.  Ermm
Darnit !

Sorry ... I just felt the need to share this.
