Maybe someone would point me that way based on that they know of my tastes. The stuff I remembered liking from that category was not doing it for me when I recheck it. Experimental/Post metal is easily my favourite metal category in PA.

Crossover Prog:  Saga - Worlds Apart

I like to get an idea of people's tastes across the board so to speak. Below I have a favourite album from each PA category (well, other than the subcategory for various artists, samplers). What matters is that the act is in that category at Prog Archives. For instance, I would not describe Duster as Neo-Prog; Neo-Psych, yes.

If coming up with your list, cover as many categories in PA as possible or as many as you want to, and please try to see which category those albums actually reside in at this site.
