Siouxsie and the Banshees for sure. They were one of the genius punk bands that came along in 1977 along with The Damned and The Stranglers. Israel, Peek a boo, Hong Kong Garden, Mirage, Christine etc. Way to good to be just a 'punk band'.

If applicable, please choose three acts, or more, or less, from this poll of some of my favourites and please mention any of your own favourites. Note that not all are Prog in the poll or in the list but to me they have significant enough relations to be sufficiently relevant to a forum of Progressive rock enthusiasts. Sorry if you think my S Poll sub-standard on the whole, but then I do encourage people to mention their somewhat superior selections. ;) Just throwing in some S words of a fairly sivil (I mean civil) sort.
