In my humble opinion, that's a rather good design (featuring nicely designed letters) in the vein of the 'ugly is beautiful' aesthetic, to which the amazing ItCotCK cover painting belongs as well.

Of course there's no arguing taste - but the cover is freaking me out a little bit, which is fine in general, but in this case I don't think it matches the music, which is nowhere near as extreme.

If you think the albums cover, sleeve and inside are pathetic, fine, that's your opinion, you are entitled to that. 

I like the whole thing, I don't find it mediocre, that's all I said.

^ Technically, yes. But The Wall is still awesome. Even The Final Cut is really great IMO. Although there we get into the ugly cover domain Wink

EDIT: Looked up my actual ratings - even TFC is in the S tier. And I stand by that, even though it would be fair to say that it's really a RW solo album rather than a PF release.

I don't think the cover art is bad or mediocre, but I agree it's an overrated album. I rarely get back to it these days.

The completely dull and uninspired pseudo-psychedelic cover art for this 2-CD pack shouldn't deter you from listening to it; instead, let that otherwise great V/A compilation serve as a guide for your search for stunning Prog-Québécois music from the 1970's.
