I can do without Sir Elton, but Liberace... now there was some serious Lounge prog.

Telefunk...drop the "n", add a "c". Include the word "off" at the end if you wish. Then ignore.

wait... what?! What's wrong with reviewing Queen albums?! A rather mean spirited post you made there? Why?!

A rather proggy song from their last album (what they've done after Freddie Mercury died doesn't count). Featuring Steve Howe for extra credibility.

This topic feels very trollish. Take this topic in coordination with your last, My posts and communications with the message
Interesting that your concern is that Queen is not Prog apparently while you decide to post this in the Prog Recommendations/Featured albums forum instead of the Proto-Prog and Prog-Related Lounge (Queen is in Prog Related, which is not considered to be a Prog category) or the General Music Discussion forum if you are against it being reviewed at all on this site and it being in Prog Related. And if we could review Prog songs, hell, I would review EJ's "Love Les Bleeding/ Funeral for a Friend." By the way, many consider, say, Queen II to have not only some musical Prog relation (I guess cause of the art rock qualities) but to have prog music credentials. People can review what they like in PA (you too can ask them not to, just don't expect people to listen or care), including Genesis least or non-Prog albums. I moved this thread to the Prog-Related Lounge where it belongs. Edited by Logan - June 08 2023 at 12:41 |

Queen were my first favourite band. I saw the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert on TV and it was a huge thing for me. So many great albums and even the weaker albums have some great songs on them.
God save the Queen!

Queen are here as prog-related (emphasis on the related bit) so everyone is allowed to review their albums if they so wish.
