I think it really was the best year on record for Progressive Metal... quite stunning.

How I missed Redemption: Fullness of Time is beyond me... that would have to be included somewhere

but then there is also Spheric Universe Exp, Pantommind, Zero Hour, Satellite, Pallas, Credo, Beyond Twilight, Epica, RPWL, Pendragon, Magenta, and Presto Ballet....

Most of the bands you mention here are really good. Thumbs Up
I'm gonna make my list a bit later. Tongue

WHAT HAPPENED? Can I really only think of 9 prog albums from this year that I remotely like (not counting all the King Crimson and Soft Machine live releases that I can't tell apart)? For shame! Please recommend me some good 2005 albums, PA!

1. Pocket Orchestra - Knēbnagäuje
2. Tera Melos - Tera Melos
3. Mats/Morgan Band - Thanks For Flying With Us
4. The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute
5. Koenjihyakkei - Angherr Shisspa
6. Shining - In The Kingdom Of Kitsch You Will Be A Monster
7. Alex Ward - Hapless Days
8. Fripp & Eno - The Equatorial Stars
9. Greco Bastián - Piano
