Also Ange - Les Larmes Du Dalaï Lama - I haven't listened to it in very long time.

Yes, I really love that Landmarq album; a pity Damian Wilson didn't stick with the band, his voice makes it very special. I suppose you know the Casino album? If not, you should really check it out - I'm sure you'll like it (and if you do know it, why is it not in your top ten? Wink).
Re Ange, not their best, but I still like it (but if I had to trim my list to ten, this one would probably not make it).

I don't know that Casino album. I will try and listen to it. Smile

Hybris is imitation prog, so it is not on my list either... And I have difficulties with counting to ten.

Casino - s/t (fantastic album!)
Roger Waters - Amused to Death
Versailles - Don Giovanni
Nuova Era - Io e il tempo
Calliope - La Terra dei Grandi Occhi
Landmarq - Solitary Witness
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Black Moon
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells 2
Ange - Les Larmes Du Dalaï Lama
Arrakeen - Mosaïque
Now - Deep
Flairck - De Optocht
Dream Theater - Images and Words
Os Mutantes - A e o Z (well, recorded in the 70s, but only released in '92...)

A lot of people will probably have an easier time from here on considering the onset of the symphonic prog revival around this time, but since I don't personally care too much for symphonic bands of that era I am still a bit in the dark. Hence, Hybris, which I suspect will top the lists of many respondents here, is not on my list at all simply because I am not familiar enough with it.

1. Nels Cline Trio - Silencer
2. Brand X - X-Communication
3. Ruins - Burning Stone
4. Tenko - At The Top Of Mt. Brocken
5. Il Berlione - Il Berlione
6. Cardiacs - Heaven Born And Ever Bright
7. Miles Davis - Doo-Bop
8. Naked City - Grand Guignol
9. Allan Holdsworth - Wardenclyffe Tower
10. Brian Eno - Nerve Net
